Vancouver Washington

I did get to tell you a little bit about transfers though. Like I said
I will be going to Vancouver WA to serve in the Mountain View Ward and
the Clark YSA branch in the Vancouver Stake. I am excited to be going
over there in the dryer season. I will be serving with Sister Faamau
from American Samoa. She has been out a little over a year and I hear
that she is a very good missionary. So I am excited. I leave Wednesday
morning and its a 4 hour drive, non-stop. We will be stopping at the
transfer site so it will take a little longer with that, but not too
bad.

I was a little nervous about transfers and so I was praying that the
Lord would give me peace about it and this entire last week before I
found out I was leaving I was telling everyone that I knew I was
leaving and then it wasn't as much of a shock once we got the call.
Sister Chatwin and Lush will be staying in Walla Walla and this is
Chatwin's last transfer so she goes home on June 26th. That makes me
the most sad out of everything! I will miss her SO much but she said
she would write me so we will see how that works out, haha!

On Saturday we went to the Walla Walla balloon stampede! About 30 hot
air balloons were all around us! It was so cool. I will send some
pics! We also went that night to see the "night glow." It reminded me
of the lanterns in "Tangled!" Except the hot air balloons didn't take
off at night...I will send pics of that too!

We are teaching a lady named Margaret. She is so awesome but she has a
lot of health issues. She has a granddaughter that is a member of the
church and has shared a lot about the gospel with her. Margaret wants
to go to the temple but she is not sure if she is ready for baptism
yet. We tried to put her on date for June 23rd and she said that she
would pray about it. We encouraged her to do that and we will be
praying for her as well. She will be baptised because she has felt the
Spirit so strongly, she is just nervous to say yes!

Anyways, I gotta go! have a wonderful week! I love you all so much and
it was great to see and hear you!
