I hit my First Month Mark!

So, I have officially been a missionary for one month and four days! That is kind of crazy, isn't it!? And I will have you know that today is my half birthday today! Woohoo! lol I would answer the questions that people have been asking me, but I think I got the majority of the questions after I emailed last week and I had already answered most of them.

This week was a lot less crazy than last week. Our teaching pool is pretty low so we have decided that we are going to add more tracting into our schedule to hopefully boost up our numbers. We are busy from the time we wake up in the morning till the time we get to lay down at night. Sometimes Sister Chatwin has a hard time staying awake when I am teaching my part of the lesson. I don't know if it's because I am boring or because she is so tired.

This weekend was Stake Conferance for the Walla Walla Stake and we sat on the front row for both the Saturday night session and the Sunday session. It was great. We had Elder Maynes from the Presidency of the Seventy speak to us. I got to shake his hand both days and it was great. He shared lots of personal experiences about traveling with President Hinkley. He also taught that the choices we make develop into habits then to our traditions and then into our culture. He said we need to make sure that our traditions are Celestial Traditions and not False Traditions while we are here on this Earth. He also talked a lot about how important the Holy Ghost is in all things. Never think that the Holy Ghost isn't as important as Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. He is the 3rd member of the Godhead for very important reasons.

President and Sister Greer also spoke at Stake Conferance and they did amazing. President even called Sister Chatwin up to receite The Missionary Commission by memory in front of everyone. He asked her to do it like 2 hours before conferance started so she was cramming it into her memory. So because she did such a great job on it, WE get to receite it at our young sister missionary conferance on Thursday. There are 24 young sisters in our mission and we get to have a conferance with everyone 2 times a year. I am so excited to meet all the sisters. I memorized the commission this morning so I will keep working on it all week till then. You need to look it up. It's by Bruce R. McConkie, called "My Missionary Commission".

After Stake Conferance we went to eat lunch with a family that owns a mansion/ bed and breakfast. You have to look it up! The website is cameoheightsmansion.com! I was there! Its amazing! And I want to go back!

I am out of time already! I have lost my speed in typing! We got to go to the Temple this last week for a sister that was baptized a year ago. She is in her late 70s and she was so excited! Her 11 yr old grandson that lives with her was baptized at the beginning of February. They are an awesome family and I am so grateful that she asked us to join her at the Temple. We rode out to the Tricities with the Relief Society President and her husband and the Bishop's wife. So that was fun! The Temple is a lot like the one in OKC but a little bit bigger. I loved the Celestial Room! It was so beautiful! I can't wait to be with my Father in Heaven again.

I really need to go now. We are striving to be exactly obediant in all things and that means email time too! lol
I love you all so much! Please write me! Mail time is a big event during the day, but I understand if you are busy because I am busy too!

Have a wonderful day and a great week! ~ Sister Morgan Brox
